Field Aviation Bargaining Update Nov. 8/2019

After several months of bargaining, your Bargaining Committee and Field Aviation have reached an impasse. As a result, yesterday, the I.A.M. filed a Notice of Dispute with the Minister of Labours Office, requesting the appointment of a Conciliator.

We have what can be the most tenuous hurdles outstanding, items directly and indirectly associated with your monetary compensation.
The conciliation process, under the guidance of an independent third party professional appointed by the Minister of Labours Office, provides a format for the parties to attempt to reach agreement through definitive and aggressive timelines. Please refer to chart below.

Your Bargaining Committee remains available to meet with Field Aviation throughout this process. Although not achieved, we believe a tentative agreement is within reach.

Work place visits for informal Q & A sessions as related to this event are being planned.
Details will follow In the interim, questions or comments can be directed to your committee members or me directly.

On behalf of your Bargaining Committee, thank you for your patience and support throughout this process.
