Dear Brothers and Sisters,
Be advised as per Article 11.03.01 of the Transportation District 140 Bylaws, the Service Designated Central Region General Chairperson closing date for the “acceptance of nomination” letters was Tuesday, October 8, 2019.
Further to Transportation District 140 Bylaws article 11.01.05:
“All designated General Chairpersons positions shall be nominated by and elected by the respective membership in each region and affiliated group”.
There will be elections on Wednesday, November 13, 2019 for the Service Designated Central Region General Chairperson position. The candidates are listed below in alphabetical order (family name first).
CORRADO, Michael
FERNANDES, Francis
KHURMA, Harjit
RAYAT, Talwinder
All members who are employed in the Service sector from Local Lodges within the Central Region will be eligible to cast votes for the Service Designated Central Region General Chairperson position.
They are eligible to vote for all AT LARGE positions in the Central Region.
