11 IAM members of local lodge 2413 American Eagle at Ottawa airport placed out of work due to airline not commuting to Ottawa MacDonald-Cartier International Airport as of December 2015.
These members joined the IAM in 2013 and were successful in negotiating a first collective agreement.
Their main responsibility was the servicing of all American Airlines low cost subsidiary aircraft American Eagle.
Most of our members were able to gain employment with other servicing companies at the the airport that are represented by IAM.
