Consolidated Aviation / CAFAS Update July 15th/2015

Dear Brothers and Sisters,
Representatives from the airlines met in Montréal on Wednesday July 15, 2015 to
discuss and address the fueling situation in Toronto and Montréal.
These Representatives made a decision to engage the Union through a mediation
process to address the issues of retention, severance, etc., along with a hopeful
resolution to the Common Employer applications that are still active at the Labour
Board.
The IAMAW and its Legal Counsel will be in discussions with the Airline’s
Representatives and their Legal Counsel on Monday July 20, 2015 to begin this
mediation process and to hopefully negotiate a respectable settlement in a very timely
manner.
We will keep you advised as things progress over the days ahead.
