This will serve as the call letter of the 2019 lAM Transportation Conference.<\/p>\n
The \u00a02019 Conference \u00a0will be held \u00a0at \u00a0Paris Las \u00a0Vegas, \u00a0located \u00a0at \u00a03655 S Las \u00a0Vegas Blvd, \u00a0Las \u00a0Vegas, \u00a0NV 89109 \u00a0commencing at \u00a09:00 a.m. on \u00a0Monday, \u00a0April \u00a08, \u00a02019 \u00a0through Thursday, April, 2019.<\/p>\n
Travel \u00a0days \u00a0will \u00a0be Sunday April \u00a07, 2019 \u00a0and \u00a0Friday \u00a0April \u00a012, Credential Pick up for Canadian delegates will take place on Sunday April \u00a07, 2019 from 4:00p.m. to 6:00p.m. and continue the following morning \u00a0
from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.<\/p>\n
Online 1\u00b7registration will be available in advance \u00a0of the Transportation\u00a0 Conference.
Each District \u00a0and Local Lodge will bear all expenses for their \u00a0delegates.
An electronic delegate submission process has been set up for this Conference. \u00a0
Instructions on how to submit delegate names and email\u00a0 addresses electronically will be sent directly to each District Secretary Treasurer and \u00a0Local Lodge Recording \u00a0Secretary.
A paper copy listing delegates from your Lodge will \u00a0NOT be required to be mailed.<\/p>\n
Each \u00a0District \u00a0Lodge Secretary-Treasurer and \u00a0each \u00a0Local Lodge Recording Secretary should designate those\u00a0 members elected \u00a0to represent then\u00b7 Lodge as soon as possible, but no later than Friday, January 11, 2019.\u00a0
This is extremely important because each delegate will be emailed a link that will allow them \u00a0to
pre-register for the Transportation Conference, make a hotel reservation, designate if a guest will be accompanying them \u00a0and RSVP for Transportation Conference events.<\/p>\n
Additionally, each delegate will be invited to download the 2019 Transportation Conference mobile app where they can receive\u00a0 real-time updates leading up to and throughout the Conference.<\/p>\n
The Transportation Conference will again encompass a combined meeting of delegates and\u00a0 \u00a0staff\u00a0 \u00a0from \u00a0the\u00a0 airline and\u00a0 railroad industries.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Everyone will \u00a0participate \u00a0in\u00a0 \u00a0the Transportation Conference \u00a0general sessions. All delegates from Canada will attend the Canadian \u00a0Committee \u00a0sessions<\/u> \u00a0established to address topics of mutual concern and industry-related issues.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0
When \u00a0the \u00a0work \u00a0of the \u00a0committees has been completed,\u00a0 they will report \u00a0back to the Conference so that every delegate will be involved \u00a0in shaping our future goals. Agendas will be sent out to Canadian delegates prior to the conference.<\/p>\n
